I am a mother tongue English speaker from the US with 4 years of teaching experience and a CELTA degree (Certificate in English Teaching for Adults) from the University of Oxford. My dynamic, inclusive approach nurtures speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. I focus on using materials that spark interest, creativity, and critical thinking, and encourage students to speak, read, and write on their own. I have lived in Italy for 3 years and speak Italian, French, and Dutch. When doable, I give as much of the lesson in English as possible to expose students to colloquial speech and correct pronunciation. I am familiar working with all ages.
