Hi. I'm Aurora Rays and I'm a professional singer, songwriter, musician and music teacher.
Music is my passion and I am dedicated to creating an environment which empowers and inspires my students.
I want to help them on their journey and understand what is the driving force behind their musicianship.
I've worked in different public music schools throughout the past 7 years, teaching different courses such as: singing, songwriting, music theory, and piano self-accompaniment for singers and songwriters.
I am a passionate teacher who wants to get to know the students on a personal level to understand what it is they want to achieve from their music creation. From this I create personal programmes for each student focussing on areas which will benefit them the most.
I have developed my management and interpersonal skills whilst working at the schools, as I have had to feedback and develop lesson plans with the directors of each school. I have been a clear line of communication between the students, myself, and the directors, so that everybody is soon the same page.
In my first year of teaching at the primary school, I created a project in which all the beginner piano player and singers performed their own songs to each other, singing and playing piano at the same time.
I am a confident teacher, but also approachable and open to conversation with students. I want to create an environment where no question feels too basic to ask, and no one fears making a mistake.

I have a degree in jazz singing and I am currently doing a master in jazz music performance. In 2021 I got an unconditional offer to study at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire (UK).
I've been performing, recording, writing and playing music for 15 years and I'm experienced in many different genres like Pop, Jazz, R&B, Soul and Rock.
I performed at some European venues and festivals including Italia's Got Talent, Mr. Wolfs Bristol, BBC Radio, Ronnie Scott's, Sofar Sounds, Gaiajazz festival, Sun & Sounds, Jazz Insieme, Scenes- USA.
In 2021 I released my first album "I Live In My Own World" recorded in the UK with Iola music label and tank of music.

Ciao. Sono Aurora e sono una cantante, musicista, compositrice ed insegnante di musica.
Sono laureata in canto jazz e attualmente sto seguendo un master in Jazz Music Performance. Nel 2021 ho ottenuto un unconditional offer che mi ha permesso di studiare e di dare esami presso il Royal Birmingham Conservatorie (UK).

OBIETTIVO:
Come insegnante, ritengo sia importante trasmettere la passione e l'amore verso quest'arte, adottando dei mezzi e dei metodi diversi a seconda dell'allievo che ho di fronte. Il programma didattico non è unico, ma sarà personalizzato a seconda delle richieste e volontà dello studente.
Le lezioni si rivolgono a chi:
- desidera imparare a cantare e/o accompagnarsi al piano
- desidera imparare la teoria musicale
- desidera affrontare un percorso musicale basato sulla composizione e l'armonia
- desidera intraprendere un'attività musicale professionale
Le lezioni sono strutturate in maniera differente in base alle esigenze, interessi dell'allievo.

Per chi avesse la necessità, c'è la possibilità di seguire le lezioni in modalità online; dispongo di tutta la strumentazione per garantire una performance ottimale, quindi: microfoni, lavagna online, materiale didattico in pdf, tastiera midi e pianoforte.
All'allievo sono richieste: una connessione affidabile e lo strumento (pianoforte).
