My MA in Psychology was focused on social processes of communication and organizational issues. I’ve been studying marketing, cultural psychology and social communication through both qualitative and quantitative methods. I had different internships in social psychology research units and communication agencies involved in social fields such as migration policies, drug-addiction and urban participatory-action-security. Moreover, I am Ph.D in Cultural Psychology at the University of Bari, Italy (06/2012). My doctoral project was focused on the discoursive construction of power relations through the body, stemming from female subjectivities. My main fields of research are religion, moral dilemma’s development and female networking activities, as different kinds of power arising from the margin and online environments. The whole research work aimed at furthering a concept of differences as “enriching disparities” and “embodied thinking” as a key-concept for questioning the public vs. private dichotomy. I gained a post-graduate MA in November 2015 in “Critical journalism: theatre, cinema, music and television” at Accademia Nazionale d’Arte Drammatica “Silvio D’Amico” in Rome, whereby I learnt about reading and interpretation of choreographies and drama, cinema critics, theoretical and practical skills on show-business and qualitative dimensions of the interview. After this course, I had an internship in the International Editorial Staff at Adnkronos - famous news agency located in Rome - where I was trained to news processing from international agencies like Dpa and Xinhua, checking and data elaboration from The Guardian, BBC, CNN, Al-Jazeera. I have been deeply dedicated to serious interdisciplinary scholarship within feminist discourses and socio-cultural science and in addition to my scholarly work I also have translated the results of my research to an artistic form. I am an Art Photographer whose work has been on display in a number of towns in Italy. I have developed productive international connections and I have organized several symposia with scholars from Brazil, Portugal, Italy, Russia, U.S. at various international conferences (e.g., The International Conference on Dialogical Self, The International Society for Cultural and Activity Research Congress, etc .). During my visiting periods in 2010 and 2011 at Clark University (Worcester, MA, US), I have been able to make the most of all available opportunities in exploring new qualitative methodologies, writing scientific articles and commentaries, reviewing papers for international journals, fostering dialogue between different academic fields in social science, and participating in weekly interdisciplinary colloquia. Recently, I got a YouthPass 2016 for the mobility of youth workers in relation to a an Erasmus training course called “Dissemination and exploitation of project results by social media” in Moldavia. I am an indipendent user of Microsoft XP, Excel, PowerPoint and basic user in terms of online creation content. I have been drawing on numerous disciplines, such as philosophy, psychology, sociology, cultural studies and political science. I have been Full-Time Lecturer in Psychology at the University of New York in Tirana (Albania) since March 2017 to May 2019. I have been teaching subjects such as: General Psychology, Psychology of Gender, Theories of Personality, Anthropology & Justice, Photography, Ethical Issues in Psychology. Furthermore, I am a freelance at the moment and I am dedicated to online activism as well as art and fashion.
